What is the PSAU database used for?
PSAU stands for PeopleSoft Application Upgrade database. PeopleSoft uses the
term “Upgrade” in a special sense – an upgrade is the migration of any object
or objects from one PeopleSoft Database to another, and the subsequent
adjustment of the PeopleSoft system to accommodate the new objects. PSAU is
used as an arranging location for application fixes that are generated by
Global Suppose Centre. Using PASU follwoing things show in diagram can be
upgraded inside peoplesoft.
The PeopleSoft Upgrade process streamlines copying system objects such as
records, pages and PeopleCode from one PeopleSoft database to another and
finally into your current production database.
