Means time taken for going up and down is 28 min and distance is 96 km
96/(6/x) +96/(8/x) =28
96x/6+96x/8=28
96x(4+3)/24=28
96x=(28*24)/7
x=(24*4)/96
x=1min
rate of stream=(u/s-d/s)/2
rate of stream=(8-6)/2
rate of stream=4/2=2 km/hr
