solution

C''s 1 day''s work=1/4 - (1/8 + 1/10)
A:B:C = Ratio of their 1 day''s work = 1/8 : 1/10 : 1/40= 5:4:1 (by taking LCM)
therefore,
A''s Share = Rs.(500* 5/10) = Rs.250
B''s Share = Rs.(500* 4/10) = Rs.200
C''s Share = Rs.(500 *1/10) = Rs.50
