Let total job he complete is = 1
Given in question that he will complete 7/8 of a job in 20 days
Remaining job = 1 - 7/8 = 1/8
so he completes 1/8 of a job in x days.

7/8 = 20 day ------ (1)
1/8 = x day ------ (2)

cross multiply (1) & (2) will get

7/8 * x = 20 * 1/8
7 x = 20
x = 20/7
