What type of problems can arise due to test automation?

Test maintenance: Automation test bed need to be updated as continuous process inline with any changes in application. Otherwise the test script would be break quite often and it wont provide the desired result. Debugging the test script is always a major concern. It requires technically skilled tester to write the automation test scripts.
