- A program or a device that displays and manipulates pictures.

- Graphic board is a printed board that supports computer to display pictures.

- Some of the computer graphics applications are:

1. Paint programs – Allows to draw free hand graphics.

2. Illustration / design programs – Supports advanced features than simple paint programs, specifically drawing curved lines.

3. Presentation Graphics – Allows to create bar charts, pie charts and other images to create slides.

4. Animation Software – Allows to chain sequence of series of images to simulate movements.

5. CAD software - Allows architects, engineers to produce designs.
