What is the admission and selection process for various MBA programs of FMS?
- Candidates who want admission in MBA (Two year Full Time) course, their selection will be based on Personal Interview, Group Discussion and on the basis of scores obtained in CAT – 2013 (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management during October 16, 2013 to November 11, 2013).
For admission in this Full time MBA two year programme, CAT scores are a prerequisite for admission.
- For candidates who want admission in MBA – Executive and MBA – Executive (Health Care Administration) (Evening programmes), the selection will be done on the basis of Academic criteria (Graduation and post graduation marks), Executive experience, Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview.
- Candidates applying for PhD programmes, their selection will be based of Personal Interview and CAT – 2013 scores. In case the candidate is exempted from CAT – 2013 test (as per the stipulations of FMS), they need to apply offline with a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/-, drawn in favor or ‘The Registrar, University of Delhi’.
What is the application fee for admission in FMS MBA (Full Time) and PhD Programme?
Candidate can fill the online application form by paying the requisite fee of Rs.1000/- and Rs.350/- for candidates who are in SC / ST / Differently Abled Category.
What are the eligibility criteria for entrance in FMS MBA Programme?
• Candidates applying for admission in the two year MBA programme must have cleared graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• For SC / ST candidates, they should have cleared the graduation with passing marks and OBC / PH / CW should have cleared the bachelor’s degree programme with at least 45% marks.
• Candidates can also apply if they have equivalent CGPA as per CAT 2013 advertisement requirement.
• Candidates who are in their final year / last semester examination of Bachelor’s degree can also apply for FMS MBA programme.
