Most of the jobs you take will need you to work in a team. So, the only answer to this question can be: “Yes, I am comfortable working in a team.” If you have any problems in working as a team, it is important to work on them and develop yourself as a team player.

- A very common question to expect and since there is no replying in negative here, go ahead and tell them how good you can be as a team player. You can elaborate how working in a team enhances interpersonal skills and every individual with an expertise of his own gets to contribute towards producing the best out of a task at hand. Provide examples if you have been at team projects in your previous job.
However, do not give ideas that you would rather be a team player and not a leader. Do mention that you are perfectly fine working in a team as well being in leadership. Here's an example:
"Yes, when ideas come from various dimensions towards a single goal, the result is always dynamic. Furthermore, in a new place working in a team is a great opportunity to communicate and understand everyone well. I do believe that I possess the ability to direct teammates towards giving their best in a project."
