Art and creativity has always been popular in India and with great importance being given to contemporary arts, there is expected to be rise in demand for art curators across the country. India being a multicultural land has various types of regional art forms as well which is either ancient or a mix of ancient with modern. These works needs to be well preserved and managed well so that they retain their value in years to come. A beginner is most likely to find an opening as the fresher staff in art museum or exhibition gallery. Since you do possess higher qualification in a graduation in history which is a plus point in this career and alongside you are pursuing a post graduation in liberal arts, you will get into a good position as an art curator. Another reason why the job of an art curator can be highly demanding is the extensive popularisation of contemporary arts which is difficult to understand for common people; an art curator does the explaining for them.
