As per the Indian market, what are the different sales promotion methods?
There are three different kinds of tools used in sales promotion :
a.Consumer promotion tools: which are directly targeted to the end consumer stimulating interest among them to purchase the products instantly. Eg. Price reduction, contests, 'buy one get one free' offer on products, exchange offers etc.
b.Trade promotion tools:These motivate selling of the product and brand promotion for the wholesalers and retailers such as discounts offeed by the manufacturers and allowances provides to the channel managers.
c.Business promotion tools: which help in lead generation, provide rewards to cutomers and motivate salespeople to sell more and more.
