Caterpillar is into manufacturing of equipments used in construction and mining, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel electric locomotives. They also provide services in the financial, remanufacturing, logistics as well as into rail services. Caterpillar has its offices located in Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pondicherry and Thiruvallur.
The selection process of caterpillar is divided into four phases; firstly you begin by completing the application forms. The application form will obtain details on previous employment (if any) as well as family background details are to be filled in this form.
Once you are done with the filling of application forms, you are then preceded towards the written test. The written test helps the management of caterpillar to evaluate your abilities and skills in relation to the job you have applied for. Prepare thoroughly on the details regarding to your internships and experiences in college and during your project time. Last but not the least; listen carefully to what the interviewer is asking rather than to be in a hurry to answer the question.
