Cite – is a verb and is defined as to mention something as a reason or an example or in order to support what you are saying.

a. She explained the subject by citing various examples.

To speak or to write the exact words from a book.

To mention somebody officially or publicly because they deserve special praise.

Sight – is a noun and is the ability to see.

The act of seeing something.
