Communal card at election time

Communal card at election time - a strategy to communalise and win the elections

Congress still lingers around while frolicking the communal card though they project growth and good supremacy as its main voting planks.

For:

- As rightly quoted by BJP leader, congress contemplates the communal card as the postern to political power
- Political parties in the state used the high court’s verdict of caste based rallies to target the rival or the opposition parties
- If parties start communalising, then people from backward classes who are usually not heard will also be given a chance to opine themselves

Against:

- Dalit’s, the other backward classes and minorities are yet destitute of their rights where in the constitution gives them exceptional privileges
- Regional parties to win votes, are trying to hitch people of the same caste, which will later lead to discrimination
- Communal card will increase cast discrimination prevalent in the city’s hence impacting the unity of our country and breaking it into bits and pieces based on caste, religion and region

Conclusion:

- The communal card should not be used by parties, just for them to win the elections, but the future impact of this would be really bad for our country.
