Contemporary music is no music.

For

- Today’s generation is much more dependent on the hip-hop style of music and they believe that contemporary music is not meant to be heard.

- Contemporary music is not very visual or cinematic thus lack the flavor that is required for music to work.

- It doesn’t have that flare or spark that can be seen in today’s hip-hop and jazz music.

- Contemporary music is not very expressive and it doesn’t connect to its listeners.

Against

- Every piece of music of every era has its own niche and holding a certain kind of music superior to another wouldn’t be fair.

- Music is an expression and an interpretation, there is no way you can exult a certain kind of expression over the other.

- Contemporary music being old school is more soothing and divine as compared to the music we get to hear today.

- It is much more harmonious and less lyrical which makes it a better piece of music altogether.
