Course fees for IT field

What does the course fees for IT cost? Are there any scholarship programs available?

- It can cost a lot in private engineering colleges.
- Government sponsored engineering colleges charge comparatively low.
- IIT’s charge from Rs 200000 to Rs 270000, but the fee also depends upon the rank of the college.
- Diploma programs on the other hand cost less and a diploma in computer application can be done at Rs 50000.

Funding/Scholarship

- A lot of scholarships are available for IT students.
- One such scholarship is the Paul Foundation Scholarship and is offered for B. Tech and M. Tech courses.
- Only students with outstanding academics are eligible for it.
- The NTPC Scholarship for Disabled or Handicapped Engineering Students is also available for students who have some kind of disabilities.
- Students who are willing to do a research in computer science can apply for the Young Engineering Fellowship Program which are offered to B. Tech students conducted by the Indian Institute of Science.
