Courses and eligibility to pursue Wealth Management

I am a commerce student doing graduation in Christ College, Bangalore. I wish to pursue a career in wealth management. Please guide me on the eligibility required to be a wealth manager and also suggest colleges that offer this program after graduation.

A wealth manager is a guidance agent to clients who are willing to invest money with the least risk involved and higher profit rate. You must be an ardent follower of the investment business to qualify for a wealth manager. If investments and returns are what you eat, drink and sleep with, then this career is meant for you. Banks across India have their wealth mangers to direct them on investment and alert them on risks. Career prospect is great in this industry only if you are an excellent performer. You need to be updated on the ups and downs of the market. Wealth managers earn beyond just good but there are not too many jobs to be found in this category and their means of selection is also not the easy kind.

These colleges offer wealth management programs:

• ICICI Direct Centre for Financial Learning (ICFL)

• Financial Planning Academy (FPA)

• Indian Institute of Financial Planning (IIFP)

• Oxygen Management Services Pvt Ltd

• MIT School of Distance Education

• BKN Group Of Institution
