The Nuclear Security Summit, 2014

The NSS 2014 is being organized in The Hague, Netherlands. This was the third edition of NSS where the earlier two summits were organized Washington, D.C. (2010) and Seoul (2012). This was the largest conference in NSS held till now.

G-7 summit 2014

After the suspension of Russia from the G-8 group the new G-7 summit will be held in Brussels, Belgium. The sanctions on Russia have been imposed after its military intervention in Ukraine and seizure of Crimea. The G-7 group includes Italy, Germany, UK, Japan, US, France and EU.

National Photography awards, 2014

Acclaimed photographer Rajesh Bedi has been honoured with the Life-Time Achievement Award at the 3rd National Photography Awards 2014.

Indian Ocean naval synopsis, 2014

The 4th Indian Naval synopsis has started in Perth, Australia. This initiative aims to enhance maritime co-operation among its members by providing a common platform. The group has 35 members. The meeting is always chaired by the host nation which this time is Australia.
