World’s highest civilian airport: Daocheng Yading Airport - China has opened world’s highest civilian airport in Garzi, a Tibetan region of Sichuan province. Daocheng Yading Airport situated at a height of 4,411 metres. Earlier Daocheng Yading Airport (4,334 metres) was the world’s highest airport.
Cricket: Australia fast bowler Clint McKay became only the fifth Australian to take a hat-trick in one-day internationals after he completed the feat in the fourth one-day international against England in Cardiff on Saturday(September 14, 2013).
