Dell selection process has four rounds:
1. Aptitude Test
2. Group Discussion
3. Technical Interview
4. HR Interview
The first round is aptitude test which contains four sections: Quantitative aptitude, Analytical ability, Verbal ability and Technical Section.
Quantitative aptitude section includes the topics like time & work, time, speed & distance, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, profit & loss, HCF, LCM etc.
Analytical reasoning section involves easy solving puzzles, blood relations, statements & arguments, coding decoding, data sufficiency etc.
Verbal ability section includes short reading comprehension passages, basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, find the error, vocabulary, sentence ordering etc.
Technical section questions are based on C language and some basic computer questions. This section is quite tough and required thorough preparation. The candidate whose basics are clear could easily solve this section.
Some sample questions are asked in aptitude test,
1. If a person sells a ‘sari’ for Rs. 5200, making a profit of 30%, then the cost price of the sari is ________.
2. A shopkeeper earns a profit of 15% after selling a book at 20% discount on the printed price. The ratio of the cost price and printed price of the book is ______.
After that, the next round is Group discussion. Most of the time this round is a elimination round. So, focused on your communication skills. Don't speak too loudly. Don't be arrogant. In technical interview, the questions are based on your resume what you have mentioned about the core subjects. Make sure that whatever you have written in your resume is correct and true. Do not mention the technologies which you don't have any idea about it.

The final round is HR interview. In this round, some questions are asked like introduce yourself, would you like to relocate etc. Make sure that you don't get nervous while answering the questions. Be confident.
