Details about US - India EMBA program
I work at the mid-level position in the accounts and finance sector holding a BBA degree. I have a work experience of 6 years and looking forward to do MBA. Recently, I read somewhere about the U.S.-India joint EMBA program. What are the requisites for pursuing this program? Please provide details.
Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) have announced this joint Executive MBA program aimed at the international executive. This program is to bestow an MBA degree from both an Indian and an American university and will be modelled after WUSTL’s highly ranked Executive MBA in China and the United States. The program will be designed to provide in-depth knowledge and tools to instantaneously apply lessons learned to present-day and emerging business challenges. The curriculum is entrenched in leadership development and innovation, including theoretical and practical training, and merge local and cultural perspectives. If you happen to become a part of this program, you will be a part of a global network of the world’s future leaders and policy makers.
The program will be covered in duration of 18 months, where classes will be held four days per month in Mumbai and it will end with a two-week capstone experience at Washington University. The first session of the program is announced to commence in the year 2015. The EMBA program is designed for professionals with a minimum of seven years work experience. It will be designed to teach business fundamentals, address leadership, strategic management themes, and lead towards growth and innovation. The pedagogy employed will promote peer group learning through case discussions, group projects and other interactive methods, besides classroom instructions, simulations and guest lectures. Best of luck!
