Which are the different branches of Anthropology?
There are numerous branches of this field that deal with human development:
• Physical or Biological Anthropology - Scientists in this field can study human progression, physical discrepancies between modern human populations, forensic anthropology, osteology, etc.
• Socio-cultural Anthropology - It encompasses the learning of human ethics and cultures, and it includes topics like:
- linguistics,
- studies of minority populations,
- studies of social norms,
- studies of specific types of social groups
• Prehistoric Anthropology – Graduates who have a basic knowledge in this sub-field are the most employed people by various museums, art houses, and archaeological organisations.
• Applied Anthropology –The various Social complications seen in the society like birth control, labor unrest, mortality rate are dealt with the help of data assembled from other fields.
• Linguistic Anthropology - It is the branch of anthropology that studies human through the languages that they converse in.
