Do you have any questions for us?
Do you have any questions for us?
This is usually the last question you can expect during an interview. It is extremely important to have some intelligent questions to ask the interviewer otherwise you may just sound dull and un-interested. Research the company a bit and discuss if they have been in news recently. You can also discuss about the growth prospects for you within the company etc.
-Now as we have discussed my candidature in detail, do you have any concerns about me being able to meet the responsibilities of this role?
-What are the opportunities for me to grow in this role and with the company?
-Is this a new position or has fallen vacant by the separation of the last employee?
-What are the major goals that would need to be accomplished in this role?
-How many members would be there in my team? What will be my position among them?

- You ought to have questions for them if you have done your research well and are truly interested in working there. At least this is what the interviewers think when they ask you this question. If you answer in negative, consider it a blown up opportunity as you are more likely to come across as someone not very serious about working with them. We have questions when we are interested or curious about something so do your homework well by going through their website and checking whether the company has been in news recently.
Ask a very smart question and consider yourself hired else you know where to head for the exit. Do not go for the very obvious questions, the answer to which can easily be accessed on their website. Ask them questions which make it certain that you are interested in being a part of the company in near future. Take this as an opportunity to learn more about the company and the position for which you are being interviewed. You might want to know what challenges you will be facing once you make through the procedures or you might be inquisitive about your growth prospects in the current position.
Take this time to know about the job responsibilities and what qualities they are looking for in the person fit for the position. It is also important that you ask questions depending upon who is interviewing - management, hiring manager or HR manager.
