Which document is to be submitted as photo identity at IBPS?
As a photo identity candidate can submit PAN card or passport or Driver’s Licence or Voter’s card or Bank passbook with photograph or Photo identity proof issued by the Gazzetted officer or people’s representative along with the photograph or identity card issued by the recognized college/university or Aadhaar card with a photograph or employee ID. Invigilator verifies the candidate identity with his/her details on the call letter and in attendance sheet. If identity of candidate does not match or is in doubt, then he/she will not be allowed to appear for the online examination.
How are the details of IBPS examination are intimated to candidate?
Eligible candidate gets the call letter and in that call letter all the details like date, time, venue etc. are specified. Candidate should download their call letter from the IBPS website by entering his/her registration no and password/date of birth. The Information Handout for each post is also available online and candidate may download the same. Hard copy of the call letter and Information Handout is not sent by post or courier.
Is a candidate allowed to use mobile phone, pager, calculator in the Examination hall at IBPS CWE?
Use of mobile phone, pager, calculator or any other communication device in the premises where examination is conducted is strictly not permitted. Strict action is taken against the candidate if found guilty of using such devices. His/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she may not be allowed to appear for any of the examinations in future. Candidates are advised not to carry any such banned items as there is no facility for safekeeping and no one is held responsible for any loss or theft.
