Eligibility criteria to appear for IBPS exam

I want to appear for the IBPS Bank Clerk examination next year. I am in the final year of graduation (B.Com honors) with a good result record of above 80% in the last 3 years and other qualified examinations. Are there set of rules for the eligibility of a candidate to appear the IBPS Bank Clerk Exams? If so, please mention them.

IBPS conducts exams for national-level recruitment for banking jobs comprising both written tests and interviews. Recently the previous paper based exam pattern has been replaced by computer based testing. 20+ Banks participate in the Bank Clerk recruitment. After you pass out the written test, you are selected only after the personal interview which some banks conduct themselves.

These are the eligibility criterion for IBPS:

• Minimum age 20 and Maximum age 28

• Graduation in any stream

• Computer literacy is necessary, either having studied as school level or having completed any type of Certificate/Diploma/Degree

• Proficiency to read, write and speak in the official language of the State/Union territory where you are interested in working

Relaxation in age eligibility is available for SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disability and Ex-Servicemen.
