Eligibility criteria to join a course in Aviation

I am in 10+2 in science stream. I would like to pursue a career in aviation. I am quite an average graded student with marks around 60% to 70%. What are the eligibility criteria for selection in the best aviation colleges in India and what are my chances of getting through it?

Had you mentioned if you are a girl or a boy, it would have been easier for me to decide if you want to be a pilot or an air-hostess. Jokes apart, the aviation industry has many more positions and option s these days apart from these two most talked about ones, like Aircraft maintenance engineer, Flight instructor, etc. Considering that mean to be a pilot, below are the aptitude and eligibility criteria:

You should not be afraid of heights and should have zeal to fly those machines. A good coordination of mind and limbs is necessary. You must have the tendency to stay calm under any circumstance and apply theoretical knowledge into practice while flying is very important. A Pilot has to be quick thinker as he is the one who is responsible for the lives of many. One should have endurance, dedication, dependability and confidence. If you aspire to be into aviation industry, you must have the aptitude for hard work, stamina, adaptability to follow difficult time schedules, good team spirit etc.

To get into an aviation college, you need to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics and must be between the ages of 18-30 years. The minimum height should be 5 feet and eyesight 6/6, which is perfect vision.
