Eligibility criterion to apply for a course in mechatronics engineering
What is the eligibility criterion to apply for a course in mechatronics engineering? What is the duration of various graduate and PG courses?
If you want to pursue a course at an undergraduate level in mechatronics then the minimum educational qualification required is a XII or equivalent pass with physics, chemistry and mathematics. The duration of an under-graduation course (B.E./B.Tech) is of 4 years. There are also masters and PhD courses that are available in mechatronics. So, if you want to pursue a post-graduation programme in mechatronics then you are required to complete your B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent from a recognised University/Institution in the area of Electrical engineering, electronics, electronics and telecommunication, instrumentation and mechanical engineering, or equivalent. The duration of M.Tech course is of 2 years whereas PhD takes three to five years to finish.
