Introduction to FMS
Faculty of Management Studies is one of the most sought after and premier management institute of India. The academic curriculum at FMS consists of a range of courses applying new teaching methods and the reinforcement of basic skills and concepts.
Who’s Eligible?
If you are applying for an admission to full time MBA course at FMS you must have:
- Pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines with the percentage mentioned next to it:
- Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
- Sciences - 55%
- Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
- Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 on a scale of 10.00
OR
- Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
- Candidates appearing for final year degree exam are also eligible to apply for the test. They can secure a provisional admission provided they meet the criteria when their final year results are announced.
- Foreign nationals currently studying in India should appear for CAT.
- Foreign nationals with Indian degree but not staying in India currently are required to submit their GMAT score.
- Foreign nationals with foreign degree need to submit both the GMAT as well as the TOEFL score.
FMS does not provide any reservation to the candidates of DU or the residents of Delhi.
Selection Process
- Candidates seeking admission to FMS Full time MBA programme must appear for CAT 2013. It is important to have a score of at least 50 percentile in each section to be shortlisted for FMS.
- Selected candidates are invited for a GD, PI.
- Final selection of candidates to FMS is based on the performance in GD and PI & CAT score.
