Glamour world has a potential to shine in Politics
Rakhi Sawant is again making news and this time for a different reason. She has launched a party named Rashtriya Aam Party and is standing in the General elections from the Mumbai North West Constituency. Film actors entering politics is not something new. Many actors have turned politicians in the past but the question is how many of them have really made a difference by changing their path? Do film stars make good politicians?

• The successful film stars are an asset for the political parties they join in. A percentage of their fans follow them everywhere.
• Good film stars who are good speakers can make a difference in the party’s success. They can have a significant impact on the media and the people.
• The film stars have the power of media, power of money and power of stardom and these three can be used to bring a change in society.
• All politicians come from some background. So how does it matter if a film start enters into the world of politics?
• MG Ramachandran, NT Ramarao and Jayalalitha are the cinema stars turned politicians who have done really well in politics.

• Acting and politics are entirely two different fields and a film star cannot understand the in and outs of politics.
• Film stars know how to manipulate with their acting and words. Their job is to act and pretend and they cannot be more than that in the political world.
• They just want to earn more money and entering into the politics will just pave another door to satiate that need.
• They want name and fame, and that is why they want to enter into the politics. It is one of the ways to stay in limelight without doing anything worthwhile for the people.
• Govinda got elected from Mumbai North constituency but no improvement was seen after that.
• They lack the perspective to handle the national and international problems. They are just the crowd pullers and vote getters.
Conclusion
The past has shown that film stars have not managed to become successful politicians. They entered into the politics when they were done with their film career. Politics was another way to gain the name, fame and recognition. In any case, exceptions are always there!

- Glamour world has the potential to shine with their fame, but with respect to the politics, it definitely requires the talent and approach to deal with the public and their issues. Actors and actresses entering the field of politics is nothing new, but not everyone attains success to withstand the political game and regime.
Film stars are real assets for the party which they join with their huge fan club following them blindly everywhere. Most of the ignorant sections of the society remain the vote banks for these people from the film industry. The illiterate masses fail to understand the difference between the movie and the real face of the person, and flow with the glory of these stars.
But in regard to the status of the country and the betterment of the people, it still remains doubtful whether these stars possess immense potential to carry on their pride and glory in the field of politics or not. Many of them lose their charm after entering the politics.
Politics is a different field requiring totally different qualities than for the film industry. Though the common thing between the two is portraying, something that might not be practical and truth, still both politicians and film stars express in a beautiful way. Though this is not a fair politics, but it is something that is prevailing in present scenario. This is one of the reasons film stars gain easy entry to politics. However, it could not be accepted that every person from the glamour world makes a good leader.
