How do you motivate underperforming team members?


Motivation is basically a desire to learn & innovate new things which gives a direction to one's behaviour or attitude. Every person has some or the other factors in their life which play a role of motivators. Team members need to understand the basic goal of their work life. If any member is underperforming, then he/she should be made aware of the current situation & the motive behind the accomplishment of the targets. Encourage them to perform better by giving examples of seniors or colleagues who have made marvellous achievements in their previous work which has lead to their success.
