How do you recommend that managers excite and motivate people?

Managers should always do the things that would excite and motivate them as individuals. Great managers give lots of responsibility early & are readily available to help their staff. They set and enforce high standards of work for the team. They motivate the non-performing members to achieve their targets by assisting them with their difficulties, and set a high personal example. This consequently motivates the team members to reach the upper level of the hierarchy.
