Working as a criminologist can be exciting and rewarding; it has its risk factors associated along with it. As criminologists along with investigating the crime scene, may have to interview the criminals also and in turn have to dig in the case to collect the history and data’s, all this makes the job quiet a challenging and a risky one to perform. Being in this profession one has to continuously deal with police and law officials and have to regularly update oneself with the recent changes in the related fields. Criminologists have to deal with not only the personal and legal aspects of a crime case, but also with the social facet of the same and hence to maintain the professional and social status in balance is quite a job for them.
