How should I prepare for the civil services interview
How should I prepare for the civil services interview
I work full-time and that leaves me with very less time for preparations. I have already taken leaves for main exam preparations and during the main exam. Now I cannot apply for further leave which is making me anxious about the preparations for the interview. Please help me on how I should prepare for the interview.
Answer:
Those who have a full-time job or academics to concentrate on are always advised to start preparing for the interview right from the time of preparations for the main exams. You can always keep aside a couple of hours per day while you have taken leave for main exams. You can consider these hours as a break from the regular study pattern. This will also let you relax from the hefty study material.
If you did not begin your interview preparations simultaneously, you can still create a time-management chart for you and try giving an hour or two everyday for the interview preparations. You might not consume this 1 hour at the same time. You can divide the preparation hours in two or three parts. You can dedicate 15-20 minutes in the morning before going to office, another 30 minutes could be devoted during lunch hours and the rest you can manage after you get back from work. Being dedicated to an effective time management plan is very important till the interview is over. If there is very less time left for preparations, you must concentrate on vitals in your form and the current national/ international issues. Good luck!
