How will you differentiate between job enlargement and job enrichment? Justify with any practical example?
How will you differentiate between job enlargement and job enrichment? Justify with any practical example?
• Job enlargement means assigning the same level of activities to the employee or we can say increasing the number of activities he / she perform. For example-any worker who was previously only bolted to the seats now might attach the back as well.
• Job enrichment means giving more responsibility, achievement and growth to the employee. For example- an employee who was doing only data entry and managing the sales data of the sales person. After job enrichment he is responsible to make the sales report, maintain team wise sales data and their performance report and represent to the seniors.
