IBSAT 2103 - IBS Aptitude Test
Introduction to IBSAT
IBSAT, IBS Aptitude Test is the entrance test conducted by ICFAI for admission into its management programme. It is a two hour computer based test for which the candidates must have done their graduation.
Candidates with GMAT or CAT scores are exempted from IBSAT 2013. GMAT scores (from 2010 onwards) and CAT 2013 scores are accepted in place of IBSAT 2013.
Who’s Eligible?
- Candidates possessing graduate degree in a 3 year programme with minimum 50% marks and medium of instruction as English are eligible to apply. They should have studies in (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) system of education.
- Candidates pursuing their final year exam are also eligible to apply provided they meet the requirements before their admission can be confirmed.
- Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium at undergraduation level have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31, 2014
How’s the test conducted?
- The candidates are required to take a computer based test at a specified venue.
- The scratch paper is provided at the venue for rough work.
- The shortlisted candidates are called for a GD and PI
- The final selection of candidates is based on past academic record and their performance in GD & PI.
Test Pattern
- Time: 2 hrs
- No. of questions : 125
The test is conducted on topics like Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation. Following has been the general break up of questions in last years:
- Verbal Ability - 50 questions
- Reading Comprehension - 25 questions
- Quantitative Ability - 25 questions
- Data Sufficiency - 15 questions
- Data Interpretation - 5 questions
- Logical Reasoning - 5 questions
