Introduction to IIFT

IIFT – Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a government of India’s endeavor to professionalize the foreign trade management and promote the exports from country. To achieve these, the institute focuses on developing the human resources, conducting researches and using the generated data to decide the future course of action.

IIFT is one of the top most institutes of India offering full time residential MBA (IB) course and it is a tough task to get admission in it. The candidates aspiring to join IIFT must work very hard with full dedication and planning to crack the entrance test.

Besides the general management things you learn at other institutes, IIFT exposes you to the international perspectives of various subjects through courses like international marketing, international finance, international strategy and international brand management.

The course at IIFT needs the students to compulsorily take a pot visit (sea port) to understand the intricacies of International Business.

Who’s Eligible?

- Bachelor’s degree of 3 years in any discipline

- Students appearing for their final year exam are also eligible

- No age limit

- Foreign nationals, NRIs and children of NRI can seek admission to IIFT on the basis of their GMAT score.

How’s the test conducted?

- A written test is conducted on a specified date and time to shortlist the candidates.

- The shortlisted candidates are invited to appear for a Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Personal Interview.
