India is now third largest internet user

India has nearly 74 million internet users and has now become third largest Internet user after China and US. Its users are younger than other countries where three-fourths population is under 35. Men users are mostly under 35 and women between 35 and 44.
14% of the traffic is from Mobile phone based Internet usage.

According to comScore report, Indian users spend around 25% of their time on social media and 23% on email.

Google has the most unique visitors followed by Facebook.

China has the world’s biggest online presence; clearly outnumber Indians by a ratio of 5: 1. Brazil grew faster than India in terms of number of online users over the last year.
