It is anti congress wave and not Modi wave
The much awaited month of May is here when the results of General Elections will be out. All these months what people have talked about is Modi wave. However, here a very interesting question arises. Are people really fond of Modi? What exactly they are looking for? It seems as people are tired of the last government and what they just want is to implement a better option. As of now, it seems BJP’s candidate Narendra Modi. What are your views? Is it anti congress wave and not Modi wave?
Yes
• People don’t want to carry on the present government as the last five years have been very tough. At this point Modi seems the only option.
• People might be calling it a Modi wave but it exists only where it has a direct fight with Congress.
• The other non-Congress secular parties as well as the regional parties are going strong in their particular areas.
• The Modi wave is more of a promotional campaign that got fuel from the unemployed youngsters and the common men troubled of inflation.
• Problems were there in the BJP rule too and that is why people elected the UPA in last two elections, and now it is just an opposite game.
• If Modi wave was so strong then why cannot it gain majority in Delhi in Vidhaan Sabha elections, and lost to AAP?
No
• The generation of today is more conscious and aware of what’s going around. They support Modi and therefore, Modi wave exists.
• Anti Congress wave must have paved way for all the existing politicians equally, then why the nation is talking about Modi.
• People have seen the development of Gujarat and they know the contributions of Modi. It is the choice and demand that have resulted in Modi wave.
• Women are safe in Gujarat and all Indian women want to feel the same. The desire to feel secure has actually resulted in Modi wave.
• Just because Congress was not successful in his tenure doesn’t makes Modi an ideal candidate. The actions speak louder than words.
Conclusion
There is no doubt that people are in a no mental frame to support UPA government. They are seeking for other better options as of now, and at present it is Modi. The more of credit can be given to the Gujarat Development. However, it is a real Modi wave or not will be disclosed only on the results day of election.

- What citizens of a nation want is people friendly governance. It hardly matters if the candidate is Modi or anyone else. It doesn’t raise any question regarding the talent and experience of Modi, but Modi’s appearance for the PM candidature doesn’t impact or overpower the talents of other candidates contesting in the respective constituency.
BJP definitely have placed a strong contender on their part to play the game of PM power. But they have hyped Modi’s presentation and that just portrays the over-confidence of BJP. Over-confidence is always harmful to the pride and ego of the person personalised. People do have some good notions for Modi, but the way BJP have conducted their campaigning, they must have lost many of their votes due to their over-emphasizing criteria.
People are definitely tired of the present government, which has failed to yield good results in many sectors throughout their period of governance. Still, those states who are satisfied with the congress candidates do favour them, and others having strong contestants from various other parties, do have a strong stand.
With such a strong influence of the candidates with respect to the region and constituency, the reason to call it a Modi wave definitely fails. It might be called anti-congress wave being the majority speaking against the present government.
