Occupational therapist is involved in:
• Assess the problem of the patient
• Complete and maintain necessary records
• Advising patient on equipment to assist with daily activities
• advise people on how to control their own behavior
• advise on home and workplace environmental changes
• Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in variety of settings like
hospitals etc
• Advise on health risks in the workplace and on health-related transition to retirement.
• Testing and evaluating patients' physical and mental abilities and
• Analyzing medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients
• Organize support and rehabilitation groups for clients
