- I agree with the writer this field is a flourishing sector in India and provides plenty of opportunities to graduates. Computer engineers though are mostly involved in IT industries, they are gaining more demand in other industries too like bank, airlines, public utilities, manufacturing sector etc., as these industry are becoming more technology oriented and computerized. Moreover, good universities like UTM Shillong are coming up with more specialized courses in CS like B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cloud Computing & Virtualization Technology and B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Oil & Gas Informatics which open multiple opportunities in Oil and gas sector and various aspects of cloud.

Hi I have huge interest in computer engineering and that is why, I have decided to enroll myself for B. Tech (Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Oil & Gas Informatics) in UTM, Shillong. I got to know that UTM is one of the best universities offering this program. Hope to learn a lot in the years to come..
