What are the requisites of making a career in tourism management? I am in 10+2 with a good command over language and fine communication skills. I want to travel around the world and this profession is associated with a lot of traveling and communicating, which is why I am interested in pursuing a career in tourism management. My parents are of the view that this career has nowhere to go. You can do Bachelor in Tourism administration (BTA) and then after working for a year or two, opt for tourism management or a master’s degree.

You can opt for jobs in travel agencies, tour operators, tourist guides, holiday consultants, airlines, and even banks. Travel and tourism industry draws interests in many businesses who seek tourism management employees as in hotels and restaurants and transportation.
