Microsoft is an American multinational technology company established in 1975, is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. The company has been a pioneer in the digital field that develops, manufactures, supports, licenses, sells consumer electronics, computer software and services.

Selection process at Microsoft

Here, I am going to discuss the placement process at Microsoft. Microsoft conducted the campus placement for freshers. It was carried in two steps:

1. Telephonic Interview
2. Final Interview

The first round is the telephonic interview which is done by the HR person of the company. Only those candidates who clear the telephonic interview will qualify for the final round.

The final interview is face-to-face interview. Generally final interview is taken by the manager persons of the company. In this they can ask questions from topics like C/C++, database, computer networks, data structure etc.
