Mid term polls - Should taxpayers pay for it?

Mid term polls are a big dran in country's economy. The question which arises in the minds of people is about the money that is spent in these polls. Who should pay for it?

For
- Mid term polls happens and gets over, no party gets a majority because of the people loss of faith in them.
- Taxpayers should not pay for the mid term polls as they never receive what they want from the government which comes to power.
- Parties usually makes false promises and when they become government then they ask the people only to pay for their bills.
- Parties never fulfilled the citizens satisfaction till the time they were in the government.

Against
- Taxpayers should pay as they choose for the mid term polls.
- As the people of the country choose to elect a new government with majority of votes, those people only should be paying for the mid term polls as well.

The tax payers should not pay for the mid term polls even the government is being elected by the public. The mid term polls are done because of the inefficiency of the government to run the country in a proper way.
