NIIT University offers NU Scholar Search Programme to those with merit. How can I get it?

I have heard that NIIT University offers NU Scholar Search Programme to those with merit. Can I expect to get this scholarship too?

I have scored 85% in examination of 10th standard and am awaiting the 12th standard results. I aspire to be a mechanical engineer and I shall be appearing IIT-JEE and AIEEE entrances soon. I might not be too confident about getting a good IIT-JEE rank but I am determined to make it up in AIEEE. I have heard that NIIT University offers NU Scholar Search Programme to those with merit. Can I expect to get this scholarship too?

There are various scholarship plans offered by NIIT University based on the merit of the candidate: Merit Scholarship Plan A+, Merit Scholarship Plan A, Merit Scholarship Plan B+, Merit Scholarship Plan B and Merit Scholarship Plan C. These are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:

• Merit Scholarship Plan A+ (MS-A+): above 95% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard.

• Merit Scholarship Plan A (MS-A): above 95% in 10th standard and above 85% in 12th standard or between 90-95% in 10th standard and 12th standard.

• Merit Scholarship Plan B+ (MS-B+): above 80% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard, above 85% in 10th standard and 12th standard or above 90% in 10th standard and 80% in 12th standard.

• Merit Scholarship Plan B (MS-B): above 70% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard; above 80% in 10th standard and between 80-85% in 12th standard, between 80-90% in 10th standard and above 80% in 12th standard and above 90% in 10th standard and between 70- 80% in 12th standard.

• Merit Scholarship Plan C (MS-C): above 85% in 10th standard and between 60 - 70% in 12th standard; above 80% in 10th standard and between 70 - 80% in 12th standard and above 70% in 10th standard and between 80-90% in 12th standard.

These are the criteria depending on the entrance exams:

• MS-A plan: =25,000 rank in JEE main, =300 in BITSAT, =2100 score in SAT and =80% in NUET.

• MS-B+ plan: >25,000 & =50,000 rank in JEE main, =275 in BITSAT, =2000 score in SAT and =75% in NUET.

• MS-B plan: >50,000 & =100,000 rank in JEE main, =250 in BITSAT, =1900 score in SAT and =70% in NUET.

• MS-C plan: >100,000 & <150,000 rank in JEE main, =225 in BITSAT, =1800 score in SAT and =60% in NUET.
