Prostitution should be legalized
Prostitution should be legalized
There was a time when legalizing of Marijuana was thought next to impossible. But now with change in time, it is made legal in the two states Colorado and Washington. Even the medical form of Marijuana is expected to gain attention in many other states. Thinking of this scenario many people are of view that a day will come when prostitution will be accepted legally in the society. There is no harm in making prostitution legal. Do you agree? Should prostitution be made legal?
Yes
• Prostitution is the oldest profession of the world. It has been there from ancient civilization. Either stop it or legalize it. The mid way should be eliminated.
• The legal bans are there but still it has brought no change in the prostitution business. So in any case legal bans are serving no purpose.
• In Zurich, Switzerland prostitution is legal in designated areas called as sex-boxes. Such areas save the women from the danger they face while staying in the prostitution field.
• Legalizing the prostitution can help the women to live a better life. They can have a control of their life and can protect themselves from the many problems they face in normal course.
• It will help the government to keep a check on the age of prostitutes. Many small girls are forcefully pushed in this field.
• Legalizing the prostitution can help the government to get an extra source of earning taxes.
No
• Making it legal will open the doors for many women to enter in prostitution field. They can take it as an easy way to earn money.
• In a male dominant society, the unemployed husbands will take the wrong benefit of the law and can force their wives to enter in this profession.
• The teenagers girls who are immature can easily go on the wrong track and can choose prostitution as their career.
• Prostitution cannot be legalized as it encourages unsafe sex, makes women feel like trash and is immoral. You cannot allow the girls to be used as merchandise.
• Just because any act cannot be stopped, you cannot make it legal. Stealing is illegal and it cannot be stopped, so will you make other crimes legal.
Conclusion
Legalizing prostitution is not going to end the problems of women. In any case they have to suffer the physical and mental trauma. Making prostitution legal will only send wrong message to the society. If will lead to an increase in the number of prostitutes. Just because it cannot be stopped, you cannot make it legal. It is important to stick with what is right. And to stop the wrong keep fighting!

- Prostitution is not a profession to be legalised. It is an anti-social activity carried out in the society by some dirty adulterated minds. These people often make poor young girls a prey to the man-eaters. The flesh trade can never be a business, as this is the option forced to the girls who are leading a life of dead.
Forcing the girls to flesh trade is an offence making them sick both physically and mentally. It kills all their desires and emotions. Just providing with the physical happiness is no life in any term or dictionary. A girl never opts to this field as a profession, unless she is bound to the surroundings and circumstances.
Those who are already a trap into such a prostitution racket should be brought out of that sever and be provided with an alternate respectable livelihood. But such girls often find an ill-fate even if they run out of the pit. The stigma gets attached to them, and the society looks down upon such girls. Not just that, the cruel men even force them to the same line making them recall their dark past.
Our society definitely needs to clean up their dirty and filthy minds and accept such girls with an open heart and mind. Rather than legalising prostitution, it is high time to get those girls out of the pit and help them with a graceful living.
