Other than the relaxation in age what are the other criteria for OBC candidates in IBPS CWE?
Those candidates who belong to OBC category but come under creamy layer are not entitled to OBC reservation. Such candidate should indicate their category as General in the online application form.
Those candidates who belong to OBC category and do not come under creamy layer can avail the benefit entitled for OBC but they should carry a certificate that specifically contains a clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section.
What are the other clauses for Ex-servicemen candidate who want to apply for the any post through IBPS ?
Ex-servicemen candidates who have already secured a job under Central Government in Group ‘C’ or Group ‘D’ and want to secure employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group ‘C’ or Group ‘D’ under Central Government can avail the benefit of age relaxation that are prescribed for Ex-servicemen. However, such candidates are not eligible to avail the benefit of reservation for Ex-servicemen in Central Government jobs.
In case of persons with disability what kind of disability is acceptable for IBPS?
According to Person With Disability Act 1995, a candidate can avail the benefit of reservation if and only if he/she suffer from not less than 40% of the relevant disability and is certified by the Medical Board constituted by the Central /State Government. At the time of interview a candidate should be able to produce original certificate in order to support their claim. Candidate with following disability are eligible to apply for the post:
Visually Impaired (VI): A person with total absence of sight, Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 in the better eye with correcting lenses and Limitation of the field of vision subtending in angle of 20 degrees or worse.
Deaf and Hearing Impaired (HI): A person with total loss of hearing in both the ears. A person cannot hear or understand sounds even after amplified speech. Hearing impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
Orthopaedically challenged (OC): A person with locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with locomotor impairment of minimum of 40% is able to apply. Both legs affected but not arms, one arm affected with impaired reach or weakness of grip or ataxia, one leg affected, Muscular weakness and limited physical endurance.
How can a candidate who is visually impaired and whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy appear for IBPS online written examination ?
The candidate can use their own scribe at his/her own cost during the online examination. The scribe can be from any academic stream.
For the post of Specialist Officer the scribe should be from different academic stream as that prescribed for the post.
A candidate who uses scribe gets extra 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.
Both the candidate and scribe should fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the form.
If in future it is found that he/she did not fulfill the laid criteria then the candidature of the applicant is cancelled irrespective of the result of the examination.
If a candidate is visually impaired and is not using the service of a scribe then he/she may opt for the magnified font.
