a.Equipping marketers with extra skills by enrolling them in specialised courses or providing training to upgrade their skills.
b.Providing counselling sessions for the marketers to keep their morale high.
c.Motivating salepeople by providing extra incentives, bonus, rewards for high performers etc.
d.Bridging any communication gap that may exist among the team members or among the superior and subordinates.
e.Coordination with other departments of the organisation like HR, Finance etc to ensure that they are getting the right information needed to perform their tasks.

- According to my experience as marketing manager for P&G prodcuts in Afghanistan, the most significant factor is to hire efficient, skilled and smart sales force for the marketing department and the rest will go well itself. Establishing an energetic, motivated and expert marketing manager is an essential for achieving this goal. The sales team need to be motivated in different possible ways. The sales team need a support in the territory as well as financially. For example, if the marketing manager show up to customers representing his sales rep to the customer this will increase the value of him in front of the customer as well as a high motivation incur.
