I am writing this in regard to your position on the issue of development of our organization. While I understand the need to restructure our department, I disagree with the plan to lay off nearly half of my staff. I definitely respect your opinion, I believe it to be mistaken.
This team has worked remarkably well to implement the ambitious plan you proposed last year, and I feel it would be a mistake to break them up. Their performance over the last quarter has been remarkable and I believe that this part of our organization doesn’t need a change and is perfect as it is. I am also of the opinion that they are better ways to improve our department rather than take such drastic steps like laying off employees.
I would like to meet with you to discuss more modest ways of improving our department's efficiency without the problems that a large layoff could cause. I will be very happy to meet at your convenience. Please let me know when you have time to hear my proposal. Being the excellent manager that you are, I am positive that you will welcome what I have to say and act appropriately.

I wanted to discuss with you about yesterday’s pre-launch product meeting. First of all, I really liked your presentation for which I have high regards for you as our team leader. I have reviewed our new product launch process and I am sure the alternative we have chosen for marketing the product is not profitable for our company.
I am not in sink with the total cost and time estimates for this particular product launch as I feel the cost we will spend will out weigh the profit.
I'm attaching a detailed analysis on this matter, and would be willing to meet you as per your convenience. I will need fifteen minutes of your time to go through the analysis and I'm very much confident that you will agree with it.
Being the the most excellent Manager and a humble person that you are I am very positive that you will give me this opportunity to discuss with you and then take a decision.
