Hope you are doing good and recovering from your illness. This is in regards to the telephonic discussion I had with you last week. As informed earlier, It has been four years that I am working in this organization as a software engineer. I started my career in Stiera as a trainee wherein I have been learning on all the stage of my employment. I have given my best to all the processes and projects that came under my leadership. All my team members have successfully delivered all the projects along with your guidance and support.

Two weeks ago, we all went through the performance review and salary appraisals processes. I was also shared the appraisal letter that my company have mutually decided upon. However, it was very disheartening to know that I got the hike of only 2% on my current salary. It has been long time that I am working here and for future also, would continue to give my best to all the upcoming projects. Due to some unwanted problems and financial conditions at my place, it will be very difficult for me to work on the salary structure being shared with me. In comparison to the current market scenarios, I would like you to kindly evaluate the decision taken by the organization.

Thereby, It will be highly appreciated if you can reconsider the appraisal shared and raise my salary to at least 6 to 8 percent of hike. This will help me in take care of all the liabilities and other conditions at my home.
