I would like to thank you for honouring me with the Star Employee of the Year. This award not only strengthens my belief that I will excel only in this field but also will increase my motivation for the work that I am doing.
It is prodigious to see that the company has recognised my hard work and endless effort. I apprehend that I shall be gracing the occasion with my presence at the Awards Ceremony on the 31st of May 2014 at 7 o’clock in the evening.
I shall be appearing for the award function along with my family as mentioned in the invitation card. Thank you once again for honouring me with this award.
I shall keep up my performance in the same way and keep my performance up to the mark.

It was quiet a moment for me to learn that you had given me an award for Civil Service Youth leadership. I appreciate your gesture in giving me this credit and acknowledging my contributions.
I wanted so much to be able to help the younger people in our community, and this award tells me that in some measure I have perhaps succeeded.
I am hoping that this is the case, and although I feel a bit self-conscious about the attention we'll receive, GB and I will be very happy to attend the annual Ball on Saturday, February 22, and I am delighted to respond with a short speech of acceptance.
I will provide your staff with all my personal details and brief biography within this week. I've also enclosed a recent photo of myself as requested. It's hard for me to explain how much your true thoughtfulness means to me.
Again, I wish to let you know that this is unexpected and I am truly overwhelmed by this prestigious recognition. It will always be an added feather in the cap. I wish to see you all on February 22.
