Sample letter to announce a work schedule to compensate for the unforeseen and unplanned holiday
We have decided upon a new work schedule for this week which is different from the regular ones that we follow. There will be some extra workload that each of us shall equally share to achieve the target we have set in order to be prepared for the closing of office due to storm that is predicted to hit the state of Orissa by the end of this week.
The weather forecasts have predicted that some areas of Orissa, mainly the areas that lie close of water bodies or coastal areas shall be under the threat of a storm. The storm shall be bearing intensity greater than the one which our state experienced three years back.
Taking lesson from the last destructive storm, we have decided to take a few cautious steps that can help us avoid undergoing loss in our business. Our new work schedule for the week asks for some extra working hours that can help us in completing our target projects that can’t afford to be stopped before completion. Take into account the work schedule for this week:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
This is a temporary measure that shall be valid only until the threat of storm subsides. Office might remain closed if transportation is blocked due to storm. In an unforeseen situation as that we shall advice our employees to stay safe in their homes. We shall be grateful if you comply with the new work schedule.
